Arles, Frances

I loved wandering around this city in the south of France where VanGogh and Gaughin lived and worked. The French National School of Photography is located in Arles and the city, when I was there in May, 2009, was restoring it's ancient Roman amphitheater. The Vincent Van Gogh Foundation Museum does not contain a single Van Gogh but instead has works from all over the world by artists interpreting Van Gogh's work.
